For over 30 years, Manchester Muslim Preparatory School (MMPS) has served its community with a clear purpose: to offer a holistic, values-driven education rooted in our Trust-wide principles of Faith, Learning and Life. In a changing world, our mission remains steady — to create a caring and warm atmosphere in which pupils can develop their full potential.

We are proud to have moved into our beautiful new school site in January 2024, a vibrant, purpose-designed environment that provides outstanding facilities for our children to flourish academically, spiritually and socially.

Academic achievement is a key strength at MMPS. Our pupils consistently make strong progress and develop advanced knowledge and skills, made possible by our team of skilled, qualified and dedicated teaching staff. The most recent ISI inspection praised our pupils’ achievements, noting that they are successful in national curriculum tests and in gaining places to selective senior schools.

Children learn best when they feel happy and secure. Our caring staff nurture confidence and character in our pupils from their earliest years. We seek to empower each child to know and be proud of who they are as British Muslims.

At MMPS, education goes beyond the academic. We aim to nourish hearts and souls: to foster a love of Allah, an appreciation of the Qur’an and a deep connection with the example of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
